Scope of work, presented in hours

Thanks for the conversation. Here is what I would take on, broken into the hours each piece actually takes so you can see exactly where the time goes.

The short version: the restaurant is in good shape and the reputation is already strong. What is missing is everything that sits around it. There is no working website, no Facebook page under your ownership, and several major listings still publish the previous owner's hours. That last one is the first thing I would fix.

Starting point

What the audit turned up
  • Yelp and Visit Placer still show the old Tuesday to Saturday hours. Both of them tell people you are closed on Sunday and open on Tuesday. Both are backwards.
  • Two domains are paid for and neither one loads. One points at a site that was built but never published. The other sits on a parking page.
  • There is no Facebook page for the current business. The page that ranks belongs to the previous owners, and your reopening was announced from an account you do not control.
  • Instagram stopped on 14 July. The posts that did go up were good. There was just nobody to keep it going through service.
  • Online ordering exists and nothing links to it. Not from the bio, not from a website, not from any listing.

Phase one

Foundation

One time work. This is the part that stops the bleeding and builds the things that should already exist. Most of the value here lands in the first two weeks.

Phase one, one time
WorkstreamHours
Listings correction sweep
Claim Yelp, correct Visit Placer, and fix the hours everywhere they appear. One consistent set of days and times across every directory carrying the restaurant.
5
Website
A real site on the domain you already own. Hours, menu, photos, location, and the ordering link. Built mobile first, because that is where almost everyone will see it.
20
Photography and video
Half a day on site. The room, the plates, and you. Everything downstream needs current images and right now there are none. Includes editing and web sizing.
10
Facebook page
A proper page under the current business, connected to Instagram so posting to one covers both. Includes sorting out the old page so it stops outranking yours.
4
Domain and email setup
Point the domain at the new site, publish it, and set up email on your own name instead of a personal address.
3
Ordering link wiring
Get the online ordering page linked from the site, both social bios, and the listings that allow it.
1
Phase one total 43

Phase two

Ongoing, per month

Recurring work once the foundation is in. This is the part that keeps the restaurant visible instead of going quiet again in July.

Phase two, monthly
WorkstreamHours
Content production
Twelve to sixteen posts a month across Instagram and Facebook. Daily specials, the dishes worth showing, and a consistent push on Sunday since that is the day the listings have been hiding.
10
Scheduling and publishing
Queueing, posting, and keeping an eye on it so nothing stalls when the restaurant gets busy.
3
Refresh photography
A half day shoot each quarter so the content does not start repeating itself. Shown here averaged across the month.
2
Listings and profile upkeep
Holiday hours, menu changes, new photos, and catching any directory that drifts back to the wrong information.
1
Review responses
Replying to reviews as they come in, in your voice. Already underway. Reputation stays organic and reviews are never solicited.
1
Monthly report
One page. What went out, what moved, what is next. Plain numbers, no filler.

Phase two total, per month 18

Hours are the working estimate for a normal month. Some months run lighter, and a month with an event or a menu change runs heavier.

What I need from you

  • Access to the Google Business Profile, the Instagram account, and the domain registrar
  • Roughly two hours on a quiet morning for the shoot
  • The dishes you actually want pushed, in your words
  • A heads up on holiday hours and closures before they happen

Not included here

  • Paid advertising, both the media and the managing of it
  • Printed material, menus, and signage
  • Menu design and menu strategy
  • Third party subscriptions such as the domain, ordering platform, and email hosting, which stay in your name
